Siebenbürgen, Transsilvanien ist ein historisches und geografisches Gebiet im südlichen Karpatenraum mit einer wechselvollen Geschichte. Heute liegt im Zentrum Rumäniens. Das Gebiet, auf dem das heutige Siebenbürgen liegt, war in der Antike das politische Zentrum des Dakischen Königreichs.
