Nachos is a dish from northern Mexico that consists of tortilla chips covered with mince and cheese or a cheese-based sauce often served as a snack. The original nachos consisted of fried corn tortillas covered with melted cheese and sliced jalapeño peppers.

Nachos sind ein Gericht aus Nord-Mexiko. Dazu werden Tortilla-Chips, die aus Maismehl gebacken werden, mit geschmolzenem Käse übergossen oder überbacken und häufig mit Jalapeños serviert. Manchmal auch mit Hackfleisch, Guacamole oder anderen Saucen.
