St. Anthony’s houses the largest collection of Christian relics outside of the Vatican. The collection is comprised of around 5,000 relics, the majority of which are classified as first and second class relics. The collection includes everything from holy cloth to the entire skeleton of St. Demetrius.During the 1870s especially, his agents were able to collect hundreds upon hundreds of relics and ship them back to him in the United States. In 1880 he built St. Anthony’s as a home base for his rapidly growing collection of relics and then expanded it in 1892 to house even more.

The Museum of Broken Relationships is a museum in Zagreb, Croatia, dedicated to failed love relationships. Its exhibits include personal objects left over from former lovers, accompanied by brief descriptions.The "museum" began as a traveling collection of donated items. Since then, it has found a permanent location in Zagreb. It received the Kenneth Hudson Award for Europe's most innovative museum in 2011.

It was originally built the for Muhammad Rumfa who had just been appointed Makama Kano, a traditional title. Rumfa later became King and moved to a new palace but subsequent Makamas lived in the building. The museum has a significant collections of arts, crafts and items of historic interest related to the Kano area.

The museum is located at the very spot from which Lee Harvey Oswald, according to four government investigations, shot and killed the President on November 22, 1963.

Psyche Revived by Cupid's Kiss is regarded as a masterpiece of Neoclassical sculpture, but shows the mythological lovers at a moment of great emotion, characteristic of the emerging movement of Romanticism. It represents the god Cupid in the height of love and tenderness, immediately after awakening the lifeless Psyche with a kiss.

The British Museum was opened to the public on 15 January 1759. The covered central quadrangle is called the Queen Elizabeth II Great Court. It has a tessellated glass roof designed by Buro Happold, covering the entire court and surrounds the original circular British Museum Reading Room in the centre. It is the largest covered square in Europe.

The Louvre holds strong at number one with around 9.3 million visitors annually. The Louvre houses masterpiece artworks like Leonardo Da Vinci’s ‘Mona Lisa’, the ‘Venus de Milo’ sculpture of Aphrodite, and what is considered to be the finest diamond in the world, the ‘Regent’. As one of the world’s largest museums, the Louvre houses around 70,000 pieces of art in its 650,000 square feet of gallery space.

The Royal Ontario Museum is the largest and most visited museum in Canada and attracts more than one million visitors every year.

Vasa was built between 1626-1628 to fight against Poland and Lithuania. She was designed to become the greatest vessel of Swedish fleet. Richly decorated and well equipped with cannons was to pay high price for Gustav Adolph ambition. The ship was unstable, and she foundered on her maiden voyage after mere 1,200 yards. The loss was so big, that Swedes believed, it had been caused by Polish sabotage.

The Kon-Tiki Museum in Oslo houses vessels and maps from the 1964 Kon-Tiki expedition, during which Norwegian etnographer Thor Heyerdahl sailed 8,000 km (5,000 mi) across the Pacific Ocean in a self-built raft from South America to the Tuamotu Islands.
