Warner Brothers. This is greater roadrunner, a long-legged bird in the cuckoo family. It can run at speeds of up to 20 miles per hour (32 km/h), fleeing away or chasing the prey. Unlike in the cartoon, coyotes have not been known as yet to attack greater roadrunners for prey.

All of the above. Mel Blanc voiced all major Warner Bros. cartoon characters. Blanc said his most challenging job was voicing Yosemite Sam; it was rough on the throat because of Sam’s sheer volume and raspiness.

Charles Addams. The Addamses originally appeared as an unrelated group of 150 single panel cartoons, about half of which were originally published in The New Yorker between 1938 and Addams's 1988 death.

Japanese. Animated series "Maya the Bee" was made in 1975 in studio Zuiyo Enterprise (Nippon Animation) in Japan (Original title: "Mitsubachi Māya no bōken"). The cartoon is modeled on deutsch writer Waldemar Bronsel's book entitled: "Maya the Bee and Her Adventures". Original movie series consists of two seasons (all 104 sections)

Carrots. Since Mel's major character was a carrot-chomping rabbit, munching on the carrots interrupted the dialogue. Because of time constraints, he didn't actually swallow carrots, spitting them into a spittoon. In a 1984 interview Blanc denied being allergic to carrots.

Lucy van Pelt. Christopher Caldwell, American journalist, called Lucy the most terrifying character in the history of comics, a combination of zero brains, infinite appetites and infinite self-esteem, who is (for that reason) able to run roughshod over all her playmates.

Grey. Hulk first appeared in 1962's Comic by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. He was grey, but that color was problematic when printing, so the publisher asked to change it.

Mortimer Mouse. In 1925, Hugh Harman drew some sketches of mice around a photograph of Walt Disney. These inspired Ub Iwerks to create a new mouse character for Disney. "Mortimer Mouse" had been Disney's original name for the character before his wife, Lillian, convinced him to change it, and ultimately Mickey Mouse came to be.
