What constitutes a sense is a matter of some debate, but there are five traditionally recognized: touch, smell, sight, hearing and taste. The term "sixth sense" usually refers intuition or clairvoyance. Abilities of balance and temperature detection, could also be considered senses, even though are not traditionally recognized as these.
